Meghan + Anthony • Cescaphe Ballroom Wedding Photography
I like fireworks. I like weddings. And I really like when they come together like they did at Meghan + Anthony’s Cescaphe Ballroom wedding (scroll down to the entrance photos and take a look. No really, do it. See? I told you it’d be great.) Let me begin by saying Meghan and Anthony are an awesome couple. Like, seriously cool. And let me continue by raving about their pink and gold Cescaphe Ballroom wedding! Holy moly this was a good one.
We begin our blogging journey with a quick stop by Anthony’s and the groomsmen’s room at the Loews Hotel Philadelphia next door to St. John the Evangelist where Meghan and the girls were ready. After getting their studs and cuff links (and their patriotic socks) squared away, it was ceremony time. And, good news for everyone, St. John’s is gorgeous with those massive arching ceilings and beautiful alter. After readings from family and friends (including one my former highschool english teacher who happened to be a bridesmaid – crazy, right?), some vows, and exchanging of rings, Meghan and Anthony sealed the deal with a kiss and everything piled into the trolley to go to Washington Square for portraits (is it party time yet?). We had about a year and a half worth of time planned in before cocktail hour started to get lots and lots of stunning photos of these two and their superb styling – including Meghan’s beautiful Martina Liana gown – and we used every minute of it before heading over to the Cescaphe Ballroom (now it’s party time). I’m going to let you in on a secret real quick here: everyone love Cescaphe. Why? FOOD. And lots of other things but FOOD! (Sadly, both Cescaphe and I have a strict no-guest-food-for-vendors/Alex policy, but I feast with my eyes).
With cocktail hour concluding, it was time for Meghan and Anthony’s grand entrance *cue the fireworks*, which was then followed with a super romantic first dance, hilarious speech from the maid of honor, and (you guessed it) FOOD! We’re talking ridiculously good dinner. And cake. And holy cannoli the dessert! Including the flambée! Yeah – it’s a good time at the Ballroom. So, without further ado, I present you with the gloriousness that is the Cescaphe Ballroom wedding photography, with lots of lovely photos of the newly refinished venue.
Anyone else hungry?
