Colleen + Brian • The Reeds at Shelter Haven, Stone Harbor Wedding Photographer
Colleen + Brian’s wedding at The Reeds in Stone Harbor was nothing short of spectacular. Traveling from NYC, the Jersey Shore is special to them and Stone Harbor’s always been a favorite for them. The Reeds was a perfect venue for them: classy, refined, but laid back and so fun. The night was serenaded by the awesome Face 2 Face Band who kept everyone on their feet (and even got some guests playing guitar themselves). I can’t imagine their shore-themed wedding being anywhere else! Colleen wore a Jenny Yoo gown and Jimmy Choo pumps, while Brian had a tux custom made for him. Their ceremony took place at Maris Stella in Avalon, and we stopped by The Wetlands and 96th Street for photos. Naturally, being Stone Harbor, we couldn’t miss Springer’s! They were kind enough to give the couple a free cone (mint chocolate chip!). As many of you know, I have a particular affinity for ice cream, and Springer’s was not foreign to me (though I didn’t get a chance to indulge in any frozen dairy delight – holding a camera and cone at the same time might prove a little challenging). The Reeds at Shelter Haven was such a phenomenal venue for these two, from the sunset over the bay to the fantastic service The Reeds never fails to provide. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was joyous, and Colleen and Brian had an absolutely wonderful time! After the wedding, they flew out to South Africa for their Honeymoon and had the trip of a lifetime. I’m so glad I could be a part of their day as a Stone Harbor Wedding Photographer, and that they had such a wonderful wedding!
